Covid 19 Return To Work Agreement

After months of negotiations via the IATSE Locals, DGA, Teamsters and SAG-AFTRA have reached agreement with the producers. Attached to this message please find the complete Agreement and a separate Summary document. This is meant to be a living document and contains an Enabling Clause which requires the parties to mee in one month and then every two months following to make additions, tweaks, and changes. The Agreement currently goes thru April 2021.
As you read through this and more importantly return to work with these protocols we hope you will take note of Covid protocols and procedures that don't work or which are not addressed in the Agreement. Please pass on notes, suggestions and comments to your Business Agents so that we can address these concerns with the International.
This Agreement supercedes any and all Covid-19 Health & Safety Plans & protocols developed by the Studios/producers.
Highlights and big wins in the Agreement are:
$250 stipend for testing on non-work day
Defintion of the Zones and Testing
Up to 10 days of Paid Sick Leave and benefit payments per employer for eligible Covid events
$20 per hour for training on non-work day
Now that this Agreement is in place we hope that the Unions and Guilds move quickly to take it to complete talks with the AICP for a similar agreement for our Commercial work.
